Project 2:
Task :
To introduce anthropometry, ergonomics, structure, design principles, and architectural terminologies, into creating a real-life structure to understand material, space quality, human scale, and form articulation.
"MYBAMBOO : Structure and Body"
Task 1
"Task Delegation and Site Analysis"
After being introduced to our group, which consists of 22 members, we separated into smaller sections to spread the tasks out evenly. We then visited the site as a group and took measurements and documentation, as well as brainstormed structure ideas that would fit our site.
Task 2
"Idea Brainstorming and consultations"
After the site analysis, we all went back into our studios and started developing the ideas we had by making mock-ups or draft models of the structure and its intended use.
We split into 3 groups to come up with 3 different mock-up ideas/models.
We then brought these 3 ideas and consulted it with our tutor, Ms. Raihana
Task 3
"Final Model and Anthropometrics"
After multiple consultations, we then, as a group, discussed which idea would be best for our project. We then collaborated as a whole to adjust and come up with one final model, which would include calculations of the anthropometrics and ergonomics of the structure.
Task 4
"Building process"
After the final model has been finalized, we now start our building process of the real-life structure with bamboo.
We built the structure on campus first, and we then disassembled and transported it to our site, Kebun Komuniti Anak Istimewa, Jln. USJ18/7, Subang Jaya. (Its still there if you guys wanna see it)
Task 5
"Drawing documentation and Tattoo stamps"
As a group, we were tasked to create presentation boards which included our tattoo stamps, ergonomic and anthropometrics, along with orthographic projections of our structure.
For me, since I was part of the building team, I was only tasked to come up with 1 tattoo stamp.
Task 6
"Presentation"
As a finale, we had to present our documentation of our journey to the tutors and some external panels.

Here's our overall PDF documentation of what was presented (not including the video):
