"Sketching Analysis"

Task :

To conduct research and architectural analysis on 5 selected buildings from 5 different architectural eras and building styles, and to present and compile the information found.

Task 1

"Research"

After picking out the 5 buildings that I was interested in, I began my research on them through Google. I made sure to dive into the topics of :

• Fast facts about the building

• History of the building

• The Architect

• Architectural layout of the building

• Building construction, structure & materials analysis

• Architectural elements/components analysis

Task 2

"Compilation of Information"

Through Canva, I was able to plan out the layout of my page. By using a digital approach, I was able to rearrange the elements to figure out which would appeal best.

Drawing & Final Outcome

After finalizing the layout, I can finally work on transferring the digital drawings, into manual drawings on A4 paper.
